Pocklington Town 4ths 5 - 2 Hilderthorpe FC
23 Nov 2013
Pocklington Towns Driffield team maintained their second in the league placing despite having to overcome a spirited Hilderthorpe comeback at home last weekend. Pock raced into a two goal lead by half time thanks to goals from Callum Dunham and Jack Bibby but the visitors started the second half brightly and were pegged them back to 2-2.
With Hilderthorpe providing a strong challenge, Pock were gradually able to pull away with Dunham completing his hat trick and a fifth from Greg Goodall setting the seal on a good win. Although Pock have played a couple of games more than their nearest rivals, they have the points on the board and will travel to play Sports Club United Reserves in confident mood next Saturday.
