MARSHAL TYRES sponsored Pocklington Reserves travelled to Hutton Cranswick to take on Stirling Wanderers in the East Riding cup and qualified for the last 16 with a comfortable win. Pock raced in to a 2-0 lead with goals from Ted Donkin and Dan O'Connor and despite being pegged back to 2-1, went into half time 3-1 ahead when James Saltmer bagged his fifth of the season.

 

Wanderers made it 3-2 early in the second half but when one of their forwards was dismissed for for foul and abusive language, Pock were able to close the game out with a header from Des O'Connor and a second by Dan O'Connor to see them qualify for the last 16 with plenty to spare. They don't have a game next week and are at next home to Osbaldwick in the league on the 23rd of November.
